Two weeks ago our IB cohort completed our half-yearly exams. Although these exams do not go towards our actual IB grades, I learnt a lot from this experience as it helped to stimulate the final exams in November and how I should deal with stress prior to and during exams.
As we had already completing a set of exams a couple of months before, I found this exam experience to be not as challenging as the previous ones as I had already experienced what an exam environment and real exam conditions to be like. The exams were still very stressful and pressuring, however I found this stress to be quite useful as it really motivated me to study more.
Although I know that there is heaps of room to improve on, these exams will hopefully give me a clear outline of which subjects I will need to spend more time on and in particular which key areas of learning I need to revise.
